The handheld gaming world is abuzz with the latest leak of the ASUS ROG Ally X, a mid-cycle refresh of the popular ROG Ally. While it may not be a complete overhaul, the new device promises some significant upgrades that are sure to excite gamers.
The ROG Ally X: A sleek and powerful handheld gaming device
According to Sean Hollister at The Verge, the ROG Ally X looks similar to its predecessor, with the same big screen bezels, glossy cover glass, and button layout. However, the device now boasts a larger 80Wh battery, up to 24 GB of memory, and 1 TB of internal storage. The proprietary XG Mobile connector has been replaced with a USB-C 4.0 connector, allowing for more flexibility and compatibility.

The ROG Ally X is expected to be announced in early June during Computex, with a release date set for a month or two later. While it may not have an OLED screen, the upgrades are significant enough to make it a worthwhile upgrade for many gamers.
