Doom Eternal Now Supports Mods with Mod Browser and idStudio Creation Tools
Doom Eternal has just received official mod support, including a new mod browser and the release of idStudio Creation Tools on Steam.
To access the mod browser and creation tools, you’ll need to download the latest update 6.66 Rev 3 Beta on Steam. Simply go to the Doom Eternal settings in your Steam library, select the Betas tab, and opt-in to the “pc-mod-preview” beta.
On the Microsoft Store, the process is a bit more complicated. You’ll need to install the Xbox Insider Hub, then search for “Doom Eternal - PC Mod Preview” in the Previews section. Select it, wait for the registration to complete, and then install “Doom Eternal (BATTLEMODE - PC)”.
“The new mod browser and creation tools will allow players to create and share custom mods for Doom Eternal,” said a representative for id Software. “We’re excited to see what the community comes up with!”

Modders can use the idStudio Creation Tools to create their own custom mods for Doom Eternal. Id Software has also provided a comprehensive guide on their website for modders to get started.
The mod browser will allow players to easily discover and download mods created by the community. With this new feature, Doom Eternal is sure to have a vibrant and active modding community.
