Botany Manor: Can You Play This 19th-Century Puzzle Game on Handheld Devices?

Botany Manor, a first-person puzzle game set in 19th-century England, has finally launched in its full form. With the buzz around the game at an all-time high, many players are eager to dive back into the game, this time on handheld devices. But the question remains: is Botany Manor playable on popular handheld gaming platforms like Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go, and Asus ROG Ally?

Botany Manor gameplay

Before the full launch, some players tried the demo on the Steam Deck, and for some, it worked just fine. Now, with the full game available, many are wondering if Botany Manor is officially compatible with these handheld devices. Have the developers said anything on this matter yet? What about player reports? Are there any to give us an insight into how well the game works?

Steam Deck

As of now, Botany Manor isn’t officially labeled as playable or Verified for the Steam Deck. Despite this, there’s optimism that it will run on the Deck. Since the demo was playable on the Deck previously, there’s a good chance the full game is too. However, it’s too early for player insights and other information regarding the game’s compatibility on the Steam Deck. But as per our understanding, you should be able to run it on your Steam Deck flawlessly, albeit with a few issues here and there.

Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go

For the Asus ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go, similar to the Steam Deck, Botany Manor isn’t officially supported as of writing this article. However, given that both these devices boast specs that are similar and even more powerful than the Steam Deck, there’s no doubt that they should be able to run the game. Again, since the demo was playable on the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go, with their superior hardware, should have no problem running the game. However, just like with the Steam Deck, it just might be a bit too early as not many players have tried the game on their Ally or Legion. So, in a nutshell, the game is likely playable, and you can give it a try!
