Ayaneo’s Newest Gaming Handheld: The Kun
The Kun, Ayaneo’s latest addition to its range of handheld gaming PCs, is set to go up for pre-order on September 5. With a 8.4-inch, 1600p display and a 500-nit brightness, the Kun surpasses its competitors like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally in terms of display quality. Ayaneo’s internal tests suggest the Kun can run for around 49 minutes on extreme settings and around three hours on lower settings. The device is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor and Radeon 780M graphics, and features a new KUNPeng heat dissipation system to prevent overheating. Other improvements include optimized grip sensation for larger screen handhelds, a new floating eight-directional D-pad, face recognition, and a customizable back button. The Kun will be available in three colors: Silver Wing, Black Feather, and White Silk. Prices start at $999 for Early Bird buyers, with Indiegogo’s retail price being $1,129 and the official retail price $1,209 for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage base model. The max configuration of 64GB RAM and 4TB storage will cost $1,699 Early Bird and $1,809 for Indiegogo’s retail price, and $1,949 official retail price.
