Embark on a Gaming Odyssey: Asus ROG Ally X Price Leak
The wait is finally over, and the Asus ROG Ally X price leak has given us a glimpse into what we can expect from this highly anticipated handheld gaming PC. While it may not be the most affordable option on the market, the ROG Ally X seems to be fairly priced, considering its impressive specs.
A sneak peek at the Asus ROG Ally X
According to a recent leak, the Asus ROG Ally X is set to release for a price of $799, which is $100 more than the original Z1 Extreme model. However, with its 1TB SSD capacity, 7-inch 1080p, 120Hz display, and AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU, it’s clear that Asus is trying to justify the increase in price.
“The $799 price, if confirmed, means the ROG Ally X will launch for $100 more than the original Z1 Extreme model.”
One notable feature of the ROG Ally X is its color, which is rumored to be black. This was heavily rumored in the lead-up to the reveal, although it wasn’t confirmed whether black would be the only available option.
The freedom to game anywhere
The ROG Ally X will need to impress gamers with its specs and design to justify the price increase. If it can deliver on its promises, including increased storage capacity, boosted RAM speed, and double the battery life of the model, then the price hike might be worth it.
However, with the Steam Deck OLED priced at $150 less than the ROG Ally X, Asus will need to work hard to convince gamers that its handheld is the better option.
